Creamy Chicken & Wild Rice Soup

Ingredients

cup uncooked wild rice
1/2
cup uncooked white rice

lb chicken breast
1
cup onion diced
1
cup carrot diced
3/4
cup celery diced
4-5
cloves garlic minced

bay leaf

cups chicken broth
2
cups water
1
tbsp Italian seasoning
2
tsp salt & pepper
5
tbsp butter
1/2
cup AP flour
2
cups milk
Directions
1.
Rinse rice. Place rice, chicken, onions, carrots, celery, bay leaf, chicken broth, seasoning, salt & pepper in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours. Remove chicken during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Shred with forks. Add chicken back- continue cooking. Melt butter in a small sauce pan. Add flour and cook for 1 minute. Whisk in milk til creamy- add to slow cooker. Add salt & pepper
