Mom’S Microwave Caramel

Caramel wrap up in parchment paper or make caramel popcorn.

Ingredients
3/4
cup Butter
Brown sugar 2 & 1/2 cups
1
cup Light Karo Corn Syrup
Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk 1-14 Oz can
1
tsp Vanilla
Directions
1.
Melt butter then add all ingredients except vanilla and mix well
2.
Microwave on full power for 4-5 minutes.
3.
Remove and stir.

Microwave on full power for 4-5 minutes.
5.
Remove and stir.
6.
Microwave on full power for 4-5 minutes.
7.
Stir and add vanilla.
8.
Pour Caramel mixture onto a cookie sheet or a 9X13 pan depending on how thick you want your caramels.
9.
Let cool for 1-2 hours. Refrigerate or put in freezer. Cut in bite size pieces and wrap in wax paper. Keep them cool. Enjoy!!!
