Chicken Shawarma With Turmeric Rice

Ingredients
Turmeric Rice

cup Brown Rice, washed

cup Water
1
tsp Turmeric Powder
Chicken

Chicken Breasts
1
Yellow Onion
1
tsp Salt
1
tsp Pepper
1
tsp Cumin
1
tsp Paprika
1
dash of Cinnamon
1
tsp Oliver Oil or Spray
Garlic Sauce
1/2
cup Non-Fat Greek Yogurt, Plain
1
tsp Garlic, minced
1
tsp Lemon Juice
1/2
cup Cucumbers, chopped
1/2
cup Tomatoes, chopped
1
dash of Salt
Directions
1.
In a rice cooker, place the washed brown rice, water and turmeric powder. Cook rice according to rice cooker instructions.
2.
Cut chicken into chunks and onion into 1 inch pieces. Add salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, and cinnamon to the chicken and onions.
3.
Add chicken and onions to a hot pan that has been oiled. Cook chicken on both sides until cooked.
4.
In a bowl, add yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, cucumbers, tomatoes and salt. Mix together.
5.
Serve chicken and onions over rice, with garlic sauce on top.
