Banana Bread

The trick is sour cream

cup butter at room temperature

cup granulated sugar

large eggs

cups unbleached flour

cup mashed very ripe bananas
1/2
sour cream
1
tsp vanilla
1/2
cup chocolate chips
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Begin by smearing butter in a 9-by-5-by-3 inch loaf pan. Set aside.

Use an electric mixer to cream together butter and sugar. Be sure the mixture is light and fluffy. Then, incorporate the eggs into the mixture.

In a medium-size bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt separately from the wet ingredient mixture.

Combine the wet and dry ingredient mixtures. Next, mix in the mashed bananas, sour cream, vanilla until well combined.
6.
Then, stir the chocolate chips into the mixture.
7.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Allow the loaf to cool for 10 minutes before eating.
