Garlic Beef & Green Bean Stir Fry

This is a great recipe that I enjoy eating when I am craving healthy Chinese food. Really easy to make. You can sub in Chicken or other protein substitutes. Enjoy :)

Ingredients

tbsp Soy Sauce (or Sub Amino Acids)

tbsp brown sugar (depending on sweetness preference)

tbsp lime juice

tsp dried crushed red pepper

cloves garlic (but always measure garlic with your heart)

tbsp peanut oil
10
oz of thinly cut steak
1
lb fresh green beans (Cut into 2 inch pieces)

Red bell peppers
2
tsp of cornstarch (optional)

cups cooked rice
Directions
1.
Combine first 5 ingredients. Gradually whisk in 3 Tbsp. oil; transfer to a large zip-lock plastic bag. Add steak; seal. Let stand at room temperature 15 minutes. Pour steak and marinade into a bowl. Transfer steak to a wok (pan), reserving marinade. Stir-fry steak in 1 Tbsp. oil over medium-high heat 1 1/2 minutes or until browned. Remove steak. Add beans and bell peppers to wok (pan); stir-fry 3-5 minutes minutes. Whisk cornstarch into reserved marinade. Stir cornstarch mixture into vegetable mixture. Stir-fry 30 seconds or until sauce thickens. Stir steak into vegetable mixture, and stir-fry 30 seconds. Remove from heat, and serve over rice.
