Lacy's Famous "Diabetes Cookies"

This is a favorite recipe when it comes to my friends and family. The ingredients are staples that I always have on hand so I can keep up with their demands! Hehe

Ingredients

cups Flour
1/2
tsp baking soda
1/2
tsp salt
2/3
cup butter, softened
1/2
cup sugar
1/2
cup brown sugar
1/2
cup sour cream
1
egg
1
tsp vanilla
1
cup oatmeal
chocolate chips
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 350 deg.
2.
In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and oatmeal. Set aside.
3.
In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, & brown sugar. Add egg, vanilla, and sour cream. Slowly mix in flour mixture.
4.
Add in chocolate chips. Be careful to not over mix or dough will be tough.
5.
Bake for 10 minutes or until slightly golden.
6.
Place on wire rack to cool.
