Nanny's Pecan Pie (2 Pies)

My Great-Grandmother used to make this for the family gatherings. It always turned out better than she ever thought it would. It's a staple for birthdays and Thanksgiving.

Ingredients
2
cups Sugar
1
stick Margarine
4
Eggs
2
cups Karo Syrup (dark)
1
tsp Vanilla
2
cups Pecans
Directions
1.
Cream together: 2 cups sugar & 1 stick margarine.
2.
Add at one time: 4 eggs.
3.
Blend in: 2 cups karo syrup & 1 tsp. vanilla.
4.
Add 2 cups pecans
5.
Pour in unbaked pie shells. Makes two pies.
6.
Bake at 375° for about 45 minutes to 50 minutes.
