Nanny's Stew

Talk about comfort food! My Great-Grandmother made this when it was cold and we wanted to warm up with some great stew. It always hit the spot and always reminds me of her kitchen.

Ingredients
2
lb cubed beef (stew meat)
2
lb cubed pork
2
onions, chopped
1
bay leaf
3
tsp Worcestershire
1
tsp salt
1
tsp pepper
1
tsp garlic powder
1
tsp paprika
4
cans potatoes
Directions
1.
Brown off cubed beef, cubed pork and chopped onions.
2.
Add bay leaf, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika.
3.
Add juice from 4 cans potatoes, cover and simmer on low until meat is tender.
4.
Add cut up potatoes, cook a little longer. You may also add peas and/or carrots to taste.
