Vanilla Pound Cake

Mom made this a lot when I was a little girl. She would cut each slice for me into little squares and put a tooth pick in one piece. The top was my favorite!

Ingredients

cup margarine (2 sticks
1 1/2
cups sugar
1/2
tsp gr. mace
2
tsp vanilla
5
eggs
2
cups all purpose flour
Directions
1.
Cream butter, add sugar, then eggs, vanilla, add mace to flour and mix well.
2.
Grease 9" pans (2 1/2 " high) put in cold oven at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
