16-inch whole grain baguette, cut into 30 slices and toasted

large tomatoes, chopped (1 3/4 pounds

tbsp olive oil

tbsp chopped fresh basil
1/4
tsp salt
Directions
1.
Combine tomatoes, olive oil, basil and salt in a covered bowl and let marinate at least 4 hours (Do not refrigerate; tomatoes will lose their flavor).
2.
Use a slotted spoon to layer on to bread. Makes 4 cups tomato mixture. Serve immediately.
