Serves 6people
Ingredients
2
cups of sushi rice
3
cups of water
1
tsp salt
5
tbls rice viniger
5
tbls sugar
1
tsp salt
carrots
cucumber
avocados
salmon
soya sauce
seaweed sliced
Directions
1.
Boil rice with the water for 3 mins
2.
Reduce heat and simmer (covered) for 15-20 mins until water has disappeared
3.
Remove from heat and leave covered for 10 mins
4.
Dissolve rice vinegar with 5 tbs sugar and a tsp of salt
5.
Pour over rice and leave to stand for 5 mins
6.
The rice is now ready to be used!
7.
Thinly slice carrots, cucumbers, avocados and salmon and add to rice
8.
Mix in soya sauce and thin slices of seaweed
