In the morning, drain them. Put the flanken in the bottom of the croc-pot, and the beans on top.

Add ketchup, honey and spices.

Cut the onion and potatoes and add them too.

Pour water to cover everything, and put on high for 2 hours.

Turn to low until ready to eat it.

Tip: Cholent tastes different every week for some reason. I usually end up adding whatever I have in my fridge to it. Sometimes that's barbecue sauce, or soy sauce or sometimes even coke!
